I came across this post on Instagram today that really hit home. In leadership, we’re constantly pushing for better. Higher standards, stronger outcomes, bigger goals. But there’s a quiet downside to that mindset: we often move the goalposts so quickly that progress becomes invisible, even to ourselves and our teams. Great leaders don’t just set the next bar... They also pause to recognize the one that was just cleared. Progress isn’t always about the next milestone. Sometimes it’s about acknowledging the distance already traveled. In project management, this shows up in how we celebrate wins. It’s easy to jump from one deliverable to the next without reflection, but taking time to highlight what worked, what improved, and how the team evolved can be just as valuable as hitting the deadline itself Raising the bar matters. But so does recognizing how high it already is. Ricardo #Leadership #GrowthMindset #ProjectManageme
