I was attending the TED conference in Vancouver, and during a break, I looked at my phone and saw the devastating news: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was engulfed in flames. Based on the images and the news, I realized. It is over. It will be impossible to recover. But I was wrong. Against all odds, last week we witnessed something extraordinary: the grand reopening of a fully restored Notre Dame, just five years later. This remarkable achievement is proof of human aspirations, strong collaboration, and WORLD-CLASS PROJECT MANAGEMENT.
