Dear Colleagues Prof Harold Kerzner, Al Zeitoun, and I released a new book, Project Management Next Generation: Pillars for Organizational Excellence, published by Wiley worldwide last June. Over the course of a year, the three of us collaborated in gathering numerous actual instances from businesses and governments throughout the world. These cases cover topics like the effect of technology on project management, the management of humanitarian efforts, the rise of new types of leadership, and the creation of adaptive frameworks, among others. This morning, Al Zeitoun and I are pleased to announce our new webinar series, Excellence in Action, an informal conversation with nine selected organizations about their cases, experiences, and learnings. The webinars will all be live broadcast on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. To view the agenda, organizations, and guest speakers, go to https://rvarg.as/nextgen. You may subscribe to get alerts and links to streaming platforms on the website, as well as access the recorded versions. The first will begin next Tuesday, September 6th, and the last will take place on September 29th. Knowing that project management is taking center stage as the discipline to transform ideas into actual results, we sincerely hope these webinars could provide valuable insights into your work and your organization. I want to thank the guest speakers. They not only volunteered their time to supply the material in the book, but they also made themselves accessible to share their stories and answer your questions in person. I have no words to express my gratitude for their kindness. Finally, I want to thank my dear friend Al Zeitoun, who embraced this task alongside me and found a means to make it happen in his spare time. That is something I will never forget! Do not miss it. Check https://rvarg.as/nextgen for more information. Have an excellent rest of the week. Ricardo.
