I just touched down in Lisbon after an inspiring visit to Riyadh for the @gpmforum The warmth and hospitality extended to me were simply overwhelming. It was my third visit to KSA within a year, and every visit makes me more impressed by the extraordinary transformation underway and how project management has emerged as a CRITICAL competency to drive these changes. The out-of-the-chart number of registrations confirms this trend. More than 11,000 people signed up to attend. 🎉 I can not mention this without a round of applause to the outstanding team of volunteers at PMI - KSA Chapter. Their outstanding efforts and commitment, led by the incomparable Badr Burshaid, alongside his devoted board of directors and a multitude of volunteers, were at the heart of its success! Congratulations!!!! It was also an opportunity to catch up with dear friends and speakers from the project management sphere. These precious moments of friendship remind us how much can be gained from being physically present together. 🤗 When it was my turn to take the stage, I came with a mission to emphasize a crucial point: Artificial Intelligence isn't just knocking at our door - it's already stepping inside. Our readiness to accept it doesn't affect its inevitability. My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who sought book autographs, sent me photos (some of them below), or made me feel so welcome.
