Hello Everybody, This week's #5MinPodcast episode is live! This week I decided to speak about the differences between Product Owner, Scrum Master and Project Manager. Widely adopted in Scrum, the Product Owner plays a central role in the external interface of jobs and controlling the backlog (or scope). The Scrum Master supports the team in delivering the work but does not have final responsibility for the deliverables. The team shares this responsibility. The project manager, on the other hand, has the natural responsibility for the work. As many know, I am not the biggest fan of names and titles. You can call it what you want, as long as the role of each one is clear and that the final goal is to deliver what was agreed. Nessa semana eu falo sobre as diferenças entre as funções de Product Owner, Scrum Master e Gerente de Projetos. Amplamente adotados no Scrum, o Product Owner tem função central na interface externa dos trabalhos e no controle do backlog (ou escopo). O Scrum Master apoia o time nos trabalhos, mas não tem uma responsabilidade final sobre o trabalho. O time compartilha essa responsabilidade. Já o gerente de projetos tem a responsabilidade natural sobre os trabalhos. Como muitos sabem, eu não sou o maior fã de nomes e títulos. Para mim você pode chamar como quiser, desde que a função de cada um seja clara e que, o alvo final seja entregar o que foi acertado. Simples assim. 🙂 Abraço grande a todos e excelente semana.
