This is such a weird — and wonderful — video, right? Jennifer Tharp shared this fantastic piece from SFGATE about one of San Francisco’s most unforgettable TV ads. If you’ve ever seen the iconic Sony Bravia commercial: the one where 250,000 colorful bouncy balls roll down the hills of San Francisco, you know the kind of visual magic I’m talking about. 🎨🎥 The wild part? It wasn’t CGI. No green screens. No visual effects. Just pure, vibrant chaos captured by Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig, who was so stunned by the footage that he sent the special effects team back to the UK. Shot in just one surreal week in July 2005, it’s still a masterclass in creative execution—and a reminder of how timeless great storytelling can be. It’s a joyful burst of nostalgia and inspiration. 📺 Definitely worth a read (and a rewatch): https://www.sfgate.com/sf-culture/article/san-francisco-sony-bouncy-ball-ad-20204385.php Thanks again, Jennifer! 😊 Wishing everyone a calm, colorful day.
