Hey everyone, I came across a great study about how Bayer is using AI, and I think it’s one of the best real examples of how this technology can actually make a difference in big, complex industries. 💡 In agriculture, they’re using AI to speed up the discovery of new herbicides. Normally, this process can take more than a decade, but with their AI system — called CropKey — they can analyze millions of molecules much faster and identify the ones that are most likely to work. Their first AI-assisted herbicide is expected to hit the market in Brazil in 2028, which shows how far this approach has come. In healthcare, they built a platform called ALYCE to help manage all the data that comes from clinical trials — things like patient records, reports, and data from wearable devices. The system automates a lot of what used to be manual work, helping teams clean, organize, and analyze information much faster and with fewer errors. What I liked most about this case is how Bayer is using AI to fix real challenges. 👏 Not just as a buzzword, but as a tool to make research and development more efficient. It’s a good reminder that the real value of AI often comes from improving everyday work, not replacing it.
