Hey everyone! 👋 I came across this recent article from PwC and thought it was worth sharing. Despite all the fears we’ve heard over the years, AI doesn’t seem to be the job destroyer many expected. In fact, PwC’s new report — The Fearless Future: 2025 Global AI Jobs Barometer — paints a surprisingly optimistic picture. After analyzing nearly a billion job ads and thousands of financial reports from six continents, the study found that AI is driving major productivity gains, salary growth, and new opportunities — especially for those who have the right skills. One key takeaway: industries with high exposure to AI have seen revenue per employee grow three times faster than those less exposed. Salaries in these sectors are also rising twice as fast, and professionals with AI-related skills saw an average salary jump of 56% — up from 25% last year. Even in roles considered highly automatable, job postings are still increasing. So while AI is changing the nature of work, it’s also creating more demand in many areas. What’s changing fast, though, are the skills needed — they’re evolving 66% faster in AI-related roles compared to others. The report also includes a look into the Brazilian job market — definitely worth a read.
