Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions an infographic that I posted a few days ago about AI in PM. In it, there was a bold number: 41% of jobs and tasks will be done by AI in 10 years... A lot of you asked, "Where did that number come from? Did you make it up?". Actually, it’s from a report by Morgan Stanley from October 2023. And it leaves us wondering... so, is AI just hype, or is it going to reshape the workforce? Last week, MIT Professor Daron Acemoglu said the correct number is 5%. Is it 5%, 40%, 10%, 80%? What is the right number to think and act on?
