A new episode of my 5 Minutes podcast is now live. It is called “The Hype Cycle of Projects.” This time, I’m making an analogy between the technology Hype Cycle published by Gartner and the hype surrounding projects during their lifecycle. It is very common that projects start with a lot of excitement, just like when ChatGPT became popular in 2022. Then, as we move forward on the project, we face challenges, uncertainties, and risks that usually make us feel disappointed. One example I used the example of building a tunnel to show how our feelings change from excitement to facing real difficulties. But the point of this episode is to highlight how important it is for us to deal with these ups and downs.
