Hey everyone! ๐ Recently, I was doing some research on the web and I found a super nice topic to share with all of you: logical fallacies. ๐ซ A logical fallacy is essentially a flaw in reasoning. Think of them as sneaky tricks or illusions of thought, often wielded by politicians and media to mislead the audience. For example (super simple one): My house is twice as big as yours, so the doors of my house are twice as big as yours. Remember: fallacies are not just errors! They can undermine an argument's logic, either by being illegitimate or irrelevant or by often lacking supporting evidence. Another example I love: The chances of a problem when doing a bungee jump are 1/100 (Made up number). 99 people ahead of you did not have any problem. The chances of you having a problem is now 100%. For us working in project management, understanding these can be crucial for more transparent and effective communication, especially when things are not going the way we want them to be. ๐ A nice website to learn more is https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/ I hope you enjoy it! ๐ Ricardo #LogicalFallacies #CriticalThinking #SpotTheFallacy #ProjectManagement #ThinkSmart #pmot
