Hi All This week's episode of my #5minpodcast is now live. This time I discuss what is, in my opinion, underlining the current debate about working from home versus working from the office. The debate is not about where you work. It is about #flexibility, #autonomy and #responsibility. Following the pandemic, the relationship between employers and workers shifted, and employees now demand more freedom in their daily work lives. Having the option to work from wherever you like can help some people strike a better balance between their professional and personal lives, boosting productivity. To compete for top talent, many businesses need to offer freedom and flexibility as part of their offer to prospective candidates. The same works for you when leading a project. Teams working on innovation, product development, and digital and business transformation seek autonomy, responsibility, and input into the company's larger strategic context. Working from home does not mean that people will work less. Committed people will have the same level of dedication, regardless of where they are developing their work. On the same note, and sadly, those who do not want to work will not work regardless if they stay home or wear a suit at the office... Listen to the podcast to find out more. Wishing you all a brilliant week ahead.
