Today I’m doing a big throwback to “Zaatari: Memories of the Labyrinth”. In 2019, this documentary was launched, following the stories of people who were forced to leave their homes because of the war in Syria and who were rebuilding their lives in Zaatari, one of the largest refugee camps in the world. I first became involved with the project in 2016, shortly after finishing my cycle with the United Nations. As a volunteer, I collaborated with Ana Cláudia Streva in developing the argument for the documentary. It was a challenging and deeply meaningful experience. One that made me reflect on exile, memory, freedom and what it means to rebuild a life after losing so much. The last photo is a backstage moment from the recording. A small glimpse behind the scenes of a project that I will always remember. ❤️ Ricardo #Zaatari #ZaatariMemoriesOfTheLabyrinth #Documentary #Throwback #Syria Refugees Humanitarian Migration
