This week I heard for the second time, "It is hard to make smart people work together." The first time I listened to this was in 2019 when I read an article about Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba. ⠀ ⠀ This quote stuck with me. Why does every organization work so hard to bring together the smartest professionals knowing that they may face challenges working together?⠀ ⠀ It is not an easy question to answer, but I tried to combine five reasons why this might happen. Most of them are related to the challenges they face in accepting the differences and embracing that others may think differently from them. ⠀ ⠀ Of course, this is a generalization. Take football as an example. Por que toda organização trabalha tão arduamente para reunir os profissionais mais inteligentes, sabendo que eles podem enfrentar desafios trabalhando juntos?⠀ ⠀ Não é uma pergunta fácil de responder, mas tentei combinar cinco razões pelas quais isso pode acontecer. A maioria deles está relacionada aos desafios que essas pessoas enfrentam para aceitar as diferenças e entender que outros pensem de forma diferente. ⠀ ⠀ Claro que isso é uma generalização. Mas é interessante considerar esse desafio. Veja o futebol como exemplo.
