Dear Colleagues and members of the PMI Family Yesterday was an unforgettable day for me! After 24 years as Project Management Institute volunteer, I was honored with the PMI Fellow Award. It is the first time a Brazilian or Portuguese citizen has been awarded in the institute's history. I have no words to express my gratitude to the community for this award. ❤️ I want to dedicate it to two extraordinary people in my professional career. The first one is Paul Campbell Dismore. Despite being a US Citizen, he spent most of his life in Brazil and was the first PMI Fellow I've met and a unique inspiration for me in my career. The second one is Luis Seabra from Portugal. He was a friend and an example of servant leadership and a love for the profession. He was one of the great friends that made my life in Portugal great! Both of them are not with us anymore. However, they have left a legacy that can be seen not only in this award but in my professional life and the life of other project managers worldwide.
