For those unfamiliar, a backlog is essentially a list of tasks or actions that need to be completed in a project, especially in Agile methodologies. It grows as new tasks are discovered, which can make managing the workload tricky. In this episode, I discuss the common challenge we face when our backlogs seem to grow endlessly. We start with 30 tasks, but after discovery phases or design thinking sessions, those 30 become 50, then 70, and so on. Instead of shrinking, the backlog feels like it's multiplying, making it harder to keep the project on track.
