I absolutely love this quote. ❤️ And it captures something I feel very strongly about: we cannot expect a different future if we keep repeating the same patterns of the past. In my latest Beyond the Hype newsletter, I explored this exact ideaa little bit, because I believe this has never been more important than today. AI is changing the way we work. It is taking over more routine tasks, automating processes, and challenging what we thought made us valuable as professionals. 🤖 In project management a lot of tasks are increasingly being automated.So, what will differentiate the project managers of the future? It will be our ability to think differently, question assumptions, connect ideas, build relationships, exercise sound judgement, and adapt when the situation changes. When was the last time you challenged a belief you were certain was correct? When did you last put yourself in a situation where your experience was not enough? And when did you last change something that was working perfectly well simply because you realised there might be a better way? You do not need to go to Burning Man to find those answers. But you do need to step outside your comfort zone.
