Recently I was reviewing some literature about innovation and the “Blue Ocean Strategy”, and I came across a very timely concept by Prof. W. Chan Kim and Prof. Renée Mauborgne from INSEAD called Non-Disruptive Innovation. ⠀ ⠀ Non-Disruptive innovation is the creation of value and innovation without destroying current products and services. Most of the time, in our mindset, we always think that the “new” replaces and “destroys” the old. ⠀ ⠀ However, some incredible products and services the society has access to today were created in a completely new market and not by replacing something.
