Hi Everybody,⠀ ⠀ Imagine that you have a high-speed car with thin and old tires. When you start to run anything can happen, and most of the engine speed will convert into more trouble and risk. ⠀ ⠀ The same analogy exists when we talk about agility and Agile. Agility is a corporate behaviour, a way of approaching the work to be done, with a strong focus on rapid decision making, flat structure, decision close to the execution and adaptation to change. ⠀ ⠀ Every single Agile method aims to support this desire, and all of them have advantages and disadvantages. But we MUST go above and beyond our teams, our projects and the products we are developing. ⠀ ⠀ If you have a team with outstanding agility in an entirely bureaucratic and incompetent organization, your results will not be agile. They will still be unproductive because what drives the speed is the slowest link. ⠀ ⠀ We need to think about business agility and identify ways to drive the mindset around agility to the full enterprise. Agilidade é um comportamento, uma maneira de abordar o trabalho a ser realizado, com forte foco na tomada rápida de decisões, estrutura plana, decisão próxima à execução e adaptação à mudança.⠀ ⠀ Todo método ágil visa apoiar essa intenção, e todos eles têm vantagens e desvantagens. ⠀ ⠀ Se você possui uma equipe com agilidade excepcional em uma organização totalmente burocrática e incompetente, seus resultados não serão ágeis. Eles ainda serão improdutivos, porque o que impulsiona a velocidade é o link mais lento.⠀ ⠀ Precisamos pensar na agilidade dos negócios e identificar maneiras de levar a mentalidade em torno da agilidade para toda a empresa. Agilidade nos negócios é o que impulsiona os resultados que todos pretendemos alcançar.
