I will never forget the first time, years ago, when I had the opportunity to discover the work of Douglas Hubbard through How to Measure Anything. His thinking was so powerful and practical that we later brought many of those ideas into our work at the UNOPS Services. Now, together with Alexander Budzier and Andreas Lied, Doug has taken this approach one step further with How to Measure Anything in Project Management, tailoring these concepts specifically to our discipline. I had the great pleasure of writing the preface for this book — and that, for me, is a real honor. This is, without a doubt, an essential addition to any project management library.
